Hermle North America Expands with Two New Positions
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Contact: Micah Morrill
Director of Marketing
Hermle North America
Amherst, VA: Hermle North America continues to expand and would like to announce two promotions: Shannon Padgett and Micah Morrill. Padgett is promoted to Director of Sales, and Morrill has accepted the position of Director of Marketing, effective immediately.
Shannon Padgett first joined Hermle Black Forest Clocks in 2002 as a customer service rep and was most recently working for the company as the Office Manager. She has a history of excellence in customer relations and has continued to foster her relationships with both existing and new customers through her 17 years of working with the company. Padgett’s consistent efforts have resulted in the addition of dozens of new accounts and her expansive understanding of the brand’s product selections makes her an invaluable asset to the Hermle team. In her new role, Shannon is responsible for strategic sales efforts with a focus on expanding current business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and seeking further service offerings. Padgett will report directly to Chad Eby, President of Hermle North America.
“I’m excited to step into this role and lead our sales team,” says Padgett. “The changes that we’ve put in place for this year are significant, and I’m looking forward to helping Hermle in this next phase.”
Micah Morrill started her career with Hermle in 2017. As the company’s first Marketing Manager, Morrill has worked on an entire rebranding of the brand’s product lines, as well as a relaunch of Hermle’s digital capabilities with a focus on connecting to those in the Interior Design industry. Morrill launched the Designer Trade Program in 2017, allowing interior designers and other professionals the ability to purchase the Hermle products at the wholesale price without a minimum quantity, something that has been traditionally reserved for retailers and other distributors. Prior to joining Hermle in 2017, Morrill worked as a graphic designer for an advertising agency in Richmond, Virginia.
“Within my role as Director of Marketing, I will be working closely with Shannon and our company’s president in order to continue to reshape Hermle’s sales and marketing strategies, as well as to continue to build upon the great success we’ve seen thus far. My goal is to aggressively create differentiation in how we market and communicate with our customers, and to bring clocks back into the minds, hearts, and homes of the end consumer,” Morrill says. “The ways that consumers find the products they want for their homes is significantly different and is evolving at an extremely rapid pace, and the ability for us to be able to interact directly with our target customer is crucial not only to our own success, but to the clock industry in its entirety. I want to show people that clocks aren’t an old-fashioned item, but has a solid place in modern interior design.”
